Key Responsibilities:


Design and implement competitive and profitable pricing structures for freight, warehousing, last-mile delivery, and value-added services.
Establish pricing frameworks tailored to customer segments
Conduct regular market intelligence to understand competitor pricing, market dynamics, and customer price sensitivity.
Build and maintain cost models that account for variable and fixed logistics costs across the value chain.
Support commercial and sales teams with pricing for tenders, RFQs, and strategic client proposals.
Monitor revenue performance and conduct pricing impact analysis to identify opportunities for upselling or service bundling.
Work closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Tech teams to ensure pricing is aligned across all touchpoints.
Oversee integration of pricing logic into systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, TMS) for automated quote generation and billing accuracy.


Qualifications & Experience:


Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
6 –10 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or commercial strategy within logistics, freight, or supply chain sectors.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or pricing software.
Experience with cost modeling, pricing for tenders, and customer profitability analysis.
Understanding of logistics operations and cost drivers in East Africa is highly desirable.
Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen.
Analytical and detail-oriented.
High proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Results-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
