The job holder will be responsible for achieving sales volume and value targets, driving market share, activation of targeted accounts, trade andchannel development as well as managing and servicing existing outlets while prospectinganddeveloping new accounts with a focus on building long term customer relationships andincreasing sales revenue.


Duties & Responsibilities


Achieve set secondary sales targets (volume and value) by strictly adheringtoset journey plans to deliver maximum distribution of our products at the retail end.
Ensure quality execution of the sales drivers, availability, affordability, accessibility and activation.
Ensure distribution is achieved in assigned territory through achieving set customercall rate coverage targets, number of new outlets as well as expansion of portfolioavailability. Ensure Up selling (value brands) and cross selling of portfolio as well as buildingstandard stock cover.
Ability to solve customer arising problem. Achieve merchandising objectives as per set segment standards both in the coldandambient space.
Ability to sell company products
Identify, negotiate, plan and execute activation opportunities such as promotions andtastings with customer in line with the territory sales plan.
Pro-actively manage the cash and credit resources of the customer to drive growthour brands in terms of volume and value.
Monitor and manage company assets such as vehicles within our policies andprocedures to ensure optimal use.
Receive, follow up and resolve all customer queries and complaints in collaborationwith the customer service team in an efficient manner.
Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to the territory manager tofacilitateproper planning.
Gather market intelligence and communicate the same to management so as enhancebusiness performance.


Expected Skills, Competencies & Qualifications


They must have a degree/diploma/certificate in Sales & Marketing or a related field from a reputable institution.
Should have at least 1 year of experience, preferably handling Furniture ie .Dining& coffee tables ,Sofas ,Tv stands , Dressers ,Beds ,Outdoor lounge chairsandOffice furniture .
Familiarity with competitor brands/ products.
Posses ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Be proficient in customer relationship management.
Posses ability to work in an extremely high-pressure high accountability environment.
Have a demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively to costumers.
Must be flexible.
