DELIVERABLE

Comprehensive Design with model and detailed drawing for a centrifugal compressor that meets the following requirements:


Flow rate 5.5 kg/s
Pressure ratio 5.5: 1
Working fluid is air
Compressor discharge must be in axial direction (in axial direction, not tangential but axial)
Provide guidance or answer inquiries from manufacturer designated to produce/make the compressor.
Have access to own 3D CAD software (any capable 3D software maybe utilized).


BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS

Mechanical Engineer with:


 Experience in product design and development related to mechanical discipline especially centrifugal compressors.
Experience with design of centrifugal compressors.
Experience with structural and thermal analysis using FEA.
Experience with material selection, design procedures, and design for manufacturing and assembly methods.
Experience with material selection, design procedures, and design. Proficient in 3D CAD.
