Responsibilities:

Receiving credit and loan applications along with additional paperwork.
Reviewing documents to ensure their completion and precision.
Conduct routine inspections to understand clients' financial track records better.
Performing risk analyses and using the findings to inform the amount of credit extended, if applicable.
Informing clients about the outcomes of their credit applications.
Negotiating interest rates and payment plans that account for the potential risks identified earlier.
Supervising the repayment of funds and contacting defaulters to urgently tend to their accounts.
Providing additional financial support to eligible and steadfast clients upon request.
Compiling a database of regular defaulters and reporting them to the relevant bodies, as appropriate.
Working towards maintaining and advancing the financial status of our institution.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
3+ years of experience as a Credit Officer or in a similar position
Complete understanding of Federal and State laws and regulations
Familiarity with legal accounting practices and lending procedures
Basic knowledge of ERP systems
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality.
Strong communication skills
Research-driven and customer-focused individual
Good decision-making skills
Excellent mathematical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Demonstrating critical thinking ability
