I got employed last month after about 5 years of freelancing. We work in an open office, and I am surprised that employees have shouting battles with the management as we watch. When I asked around, I was told that this is normal. I don’t know how to evolve to this environment, as in my previous formal employment, challenging the management would lead to dismissal.

    Sounds more like a family than a workplace. Although, I was in the newspaper business, and the atmosphere, actions, attitudes were open, unrestricted,... and emotional, as you described. more

    very strange. Are they union employees?

    It’s normal oooo, sometimes they still push their own blame indirectly on you as an employee, but if you can deliver on time this will be minimal
