I've been working in the CSRV department in the Front Office for almost two years now. But lately I've started noticing that clients are really getting on my nerves. They genuinely annoy me with their minor issues, and especially with their desire to chat about absolutely everything. I'd like to move to the Back Office. Could you advise me on how to explain the reason for the transfer to my manager in a professional and polite way? Is there perhaps a softer, more credible way to say that I'd prefer working with documents rather than dealing directly with people?
Thank you

  • If you're good at working with documents; emphasize that's your strength!
I would probably not say anything about not liking to work with clients.
