Our client seeks an experienced and strategic Head of Security to lead their organization's security operations, policies, and infrastructure.
This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of physical and digital security, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and data.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both corporate and cybersecurity leadership, with proven experience in risk assessment, crisis management, and regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities


Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive security strategies and policies.
Lead physical security operations across all facilities, including surveillance, access control, and incident response.
Manage cybersecurity initiatives in collaboration with the IT department to safeguard digital assets and information systems.
Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
Develop and manage emergency response plans and business continuity strategies.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including data privacy laws and industry standards.
Manage relationships with external security vendors and law enforcement agencies.
Lead and mentor the security team, providing training and development opportunities.
Prepare and present security reports to executive leadership and the board.


Qualifications


Preferred: Ex-serviceman with relevant security experience.
Proven experience in a security management role, ideally in a corporate or industrial environment.
Strong leadership and training skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of security technology and systems.
Ability to remain calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
