PURPOSE OF POSITION
To provide operational support for the performance of the Research functions of the Fund.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervises the collection of data for the formulation of policies; • Facilitates the preparation of the strategic plan of the Fund; • Implements the programmes and activities of the Unit; • Provides inputs for development of guidelines and strategies for the conduct of research, monitoring and evaluations activities of the Board s • Prepares and produces fact sheets, policy briefs, research findings and reports; • Provides inputs for the development of research agenda, research proposals and the preparation of resource mobilization plan; • Leads in the conduct of research; • Collates data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports of the Unit; • Facilitates the preparation of annual reports of the Fund; • Collates data for the preparation of the annual budget and work plan of the Unit; • Supervises and appraises the performance of subordinate staff of the Unit;
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Project Management or any other related discipline from an accredited tertiary institution; • A minimum of one (1) year relevant post Bachelor’s degree work experience in a relevant organization;
