I'm curious and seek all input to consider. I was video recorded. By a co-worker unaware until. The OM called me to the office with the allegation. I threatened a client/participant, the experience. Was a de-humanizing blindsided attempted. By the co-worker recording to get me fired, I feel but. In the end I was in tears begging. To keep my job I'm a DSP w/autistic individuals 17 years now. I felt defamed and as a gentleman of color. 60 days in I feel there went any opportunity. To advance dispite my education and experience. I requested a copy of the obviously edited video. But the OM has not responded and its been three weeks now. What would you do? What do you think about the whole matter, in general?

    Let me provide more context, I saw the video you can tell it's edited. It omits all context it's about 15 seconds. And only shows me turning to face... the participant. And asking firmly, "what are you going to do". In ference to his clothes mildewing in the washing machine. Almost two days, that's it. The video is a malicious attempt by a co-worker. To hide or divert attention from the real issue. That being her personal issue with me after turning down. An inappropriate engagement on the job. Me turning down her invite to go out. Coupled with me verbalizing to her openly. My issue with her performance on the job. That directly adversely affected my ability to. Do my job because we work in the same rehab home. Thank you all for your feedback it's provided things I need to consider. I hadn't thought about yet.  more

    The allegations is a false narrative, I'm threatening the client. I saw the video I'm not yelling. Or being irate just firm asking the client. And... there staff what they are going to do about the mildewing clothes? I don't curse, or get in anyone's personal space.  more

    Sir my heart goes out to you and your family. Most times circumstances like this happens for your betterment even when it feels IMPOSSIBLE! God is... preparing you for Greatness!

    Coming from being homeless to watching my bro die in front of me unexpectedly while being homeless i thought “ whats the point” but as my brother was taking his last breath he told me he trust the unknown and for me not to focus on the circumstances. When he was here he would often drill in me “reverse engineering “ and to focus on Solely what you want despite what the circumstance looks like likes to reap God’s rewards.

    He was right! After that i made the chose not to subscribe to society’s box and asked what can i do to leave the most impact. I stared MCC millionaire collective circle to give digital tools freely to remake digital products that speaks to you and will create revenue. The group mission is to build 1 million like minded souls who is ready to take matters in their own hands and bumrush social media following each other and creating a digital business thats remote.     If this is a state facility no one can record you. Except the facility cameras. Push back tell the you want to see the video and look at the rules to... see if recording is allowed.  more

    Start looking for another job if there is no room for advancement at this company and is your job at will or fire without cause. Also if you were... recorded actually doing what they say you did you probably don't need to work at that job. Find a job that won't have you losing it with the clients. Otherwise seek help for the outburst and/or watch it. more

    If it's been 3 weeks and you haven't been fired, depending on the allegations, you won't be.

    It all depends on your State if you are a right to work State they do not have to have a reason to fire you so look what your State is!
