Pray, ask wisdom from God, but for me move to that new company if it is an existing company of more than 5 years and find out or do some research if... the company is financially stable. more

  • There is far more to job satisfaction than a slightly higher pay bump and some pension. Are you happy in your current position? Do you see a good... future there?  more

  • My honest advice: don’t accept the new job yet, but don’t reject it either. First, work through the numbers, career prospects, and—most... importantly—your spouse’s concerns. more

    The new company is KSB

  • PRAYING WILL NOT HELP> DO some research an dif the ne wcompany is a competitor then turn it down.

  • There may be good reasons not to take the job, such as your children's situation in school and with friends, your spouse's feelings, your closeness to... relatives. And all of this is held up to comparison with a job that pays only slightly more and provides some pension, though you don't say how much. So it's not an open and shut case.

Statistically, for what it's worth, people who are willing to move to pursue better opportunities do better economically in life, they climb faster on the income ladder. Ladder. On the other hand, they can leave damage behind, such as instability for their children and their children's education.

All of these should need to be weighed in the decision. Ultimately, unless there's something that stands out as a real deal maker or deal-breaker, it's a gamble, and you and your wife have to decide if you're willing to take the bet.
