Key Responsibilities:


Liaising regularly with global functional leads for support on responsibilities, including sessions presenting and discussing plans, progress and performance
Liaising regularly with other areas of the East Africa teams to collaborate and to keep up to date with progress
Working closely with line manager to utilise their support and to accurately report information and performance via regular governance
Supporting any direct reports and other team members with their professional development, including delivering regular feedback
Ensuring any direct reports are clear on their goals and are adequately supported in order to achieve them
Leading on assessments (technical, social and political) of potential sites to understand suitability for a project
Forming and maintaining productive, professional relationships with county water socials and village leaders
Designing and running community initiatives such as public participations to engage community members, encouraging sign ups and water usage
Support in negotiating infrastructure and land acquisition to enable system development
Contractor selection, management and quality control


Qualifications


A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience in supporting projects and programmes from inception to completion to deliver operational results
Experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly with government officials, local communities, and contractors.
Strong analytical skills and Communication Skills
Have the ability to identify and address challenges that may arise during project scoping, offering innovative solutions to ensure project success
Familiarity with project management tools and software is an added advantage
Flexible to travel across the country.
