Job Summary:

Provide leadership in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Manage accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and deliver insights to support business decisions. Oversee financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring efficient financial operations and effective decision-making. Proficient in the use of QuickBooks

Key Responsibilities:


Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management.
Develop and manage comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.
Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Collaborate with auditors for internal and external audits.
Implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, including training and development.
Conduct financial analysis to provide actionable insights to management.
Manage relationships with financial institutions, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
Oversee the preparation and monitoring of financial statements, cash flow projections, and balance sheets.
Maintain proficiency in financial software, specifically QuickBooks, and ensure the team is aligned with best practices in its use.
Drive the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with company goals and financial objectives.
Monitor and maintain appropriate financial controls and ensure the organization complies with legal and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
ICAN/ACCA Certification required.
Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management and accounting, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in financial software (e.g. QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
