Key Accountabilities


Develop, implement, and monitor company-wide safety, health, and environmental policies.
Conduct risk assessments to identify hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
Implement and maintain the ISO 45001 system
Maintain the Hazard Identification Tracker and Ensure the timely closure of Hazards identified.
Design and deliver SHE training programs for employees.
Investigate workplace incidents and recommend preventive measures.
Monitor SHE performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
Liaise with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders regarding SHE compliance to all Statutory and Regulatory requirements
Organise the annual medical check-ups for staff
Implement the planned maintenance calendar
Maintain the Asset Register
Ensure Calibration is carried out regularly where needed
Maintain and manage the service contracts
Collaborate with production to ensure all machinery complies with safety standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting machinery or facility operations.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and maintenance standards are seamlessly integrated into day-to-day operations.
Promote sustainability by aligning maintenance practices with environmental and safety goals.
Maintain and track the sustainability data


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or technical maintenance certifications) are preferred.
Conversant with ISO management Systems


Technical/ Professional Experience:


At least 3 years’ practical experience in an industrial setting
At least 1 years’ experience in SHE Management
