Key Accountabilities


Develop, implement, and monitor company-wide safety, health, and environmental policies.
Conduct risk assessments to identify hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
Implement and maintain the ISO 45001 system
Maintain the Hazard Identification Tracker and Ensure the timely closure of Hazards identified.
Design and deliver SHE training programs for... employees.
Investigate workplace incidents and recommend preventive measures.
Monitor SHE performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
Liaise with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders regarding SHE compliance to all Statutory and Regulatory requirements
Organise the annual medical check-ups for staff
Implement the planned maintenance calendar
Maintain the Asset Register
Ensure Calibration is carried out regularly where needed
Maintain and manage the service contracts
Collaborate with production to ensure all machinery complies with safety standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting machinery or facility operations.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and maintenance standards are seamlessly integrated into day-to-day operations.
Promote sustainability by aligning maintenance practices with environmental and safety goals.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or technical maintenance certifications) are preferred.
Conversant with ISO management Systems


Technical/ Professional Experience:


At least 3 years’ practical experience in an industrial setting
At least 1 years’ experience in SHE Management more

Procurement Processes;

Manage end to end procurement processes for all commodities materials. Tasks will include; 

Price Negotiations

Cost Model Reviews 


Engage with the deployment of EPDs and NPDs
Be a key contact for all procure to pay activities.
Contract/Schedule and PIR Management;
Manage and implement SAP related tasks 
Ensure quota arrangement is maintained where... needed
Ensure all active materials are set up with valid contracts
Escalate SAP issues that may require expert handling. 
Ensure contracts data integrity within the system by carrying out periodic data health checks.


Price Trends Monitoring;


Constant follow up with input raw material market prices and price trends.
Be engaged with external business environment, foreign exchange movements and government policies to proactively anticipate business impact.
Conduct due diligence benchmarking within commodities subcategories.
Internal and External Relationship Management;
Build effective strategic relationships with key suppliers.
Engage suppliers effectively and proactively.
Plan monthly and/or quarterly supplier engagement sessions.
Plan supplier visits where and when necessary.
Participate in helping resolve supplier issues and complaints.
Attend internal cross-functional meetings.
Attend to requests from other internal and/or external parties.
Be an effective liaison between internal and external stakeholders. 


Create and Deliver Effective Budget;


Support in the setting up of the commodities standard cost 
Deliver yearly commodities spend within budget as aligned with the business.
Identify, Implement and Deliver Sustainable and Long-Term Savings Opportunities; 
Through the strategy creation process, identify and explore all potential value levers.
Constantly engage with the suppliers and R&D teams to identify, implement and deliver cost saving opportunities. 


Monitor Inventory Levels;


Participate in the setting of stockholding norms for commodities materials purchased by the organisation.

Organize and coordinate activities of floor sales merchandizers
Implement strict credit control for Key distributors and ensure purchases are done within approved credit limit
Accountable for POS materials and other sales driving materials deployed to territory through monitoring to ensure safe keeping and optimal use.
Actively lead or participate in Quality Management System implementation and sustenance in all assigned duties.
Ensure no waste of resources or pollution of the environment while fulfilling assigned responsibilities.

Job Purpose:


To ensure prompt loading and dispatch of consumer pack products.
Control loaders, truck & truck driver’s activities at the loading bay.
Ensure loading is done in line with delivery order following FIFO system and following loading standard of “heavier weight loaded ahead of lighter weight”.
To achieve zero customer complaint in relation to the quality of invoicing Loading... is strictly done in line with delivery order and real-time reconciliation done with forklift operators to ensure accuracy per loading.
To ensure there is no pending SAP transactions daily Lead entire dispatch operations through on-time docking and loading.
Role-model safety culture while coordinating loaders’ and operators’ activities to ensure full compliance to safety standards.

To set up production machines, set stipulated parameters for different SKUs/product lines and change parametric settings during change of line/SKUs.
