Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate record of daily financial transactions • Prepare payment vouchers and process supplier and vendor payments • Issue receipts and invoices to clients • Manage petty cash and keep up-to-date petty cash records • Handle monthly bank reconciliations • Keep proper filing of financial documents for audit and reference purposes • Record income and expenses into accounting software or spreadsheets • Track outstanding debts and follow up on collections • Assist with payroll preparation and statutory deductions (PAYE,SSNIT, Tier 2) • Support in basic inventory and asset tracking where necessary • Take care of all administrative duties • Any other duty to be assigned by supervisor
Qualification Required & Experience
• HND in Accounting or related field • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
As a new and essential member of our small but growing team, the Accounts Officer will handle the firm's day-to-day financial transactions and support basic finance functions to ensure transparency and compliance
