Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor the implementation of flagship projects contained in the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) and the Governors Manifesto
Support the resource mobilization process for implementation of strategic initiatives
Strategic Communication on the implementation of strategic activities
Project monitoring and evaluation
Reporting on the implementation status
Dashboard reporting
Trend Analysis
Research
Proactively manage risks and issues;
Any other relevant duties that may be allocated

Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan Citizen

Diploma in a relevant related field from a recognized institution or equivalence
Practical experience that is the equivalence to strategic service delivery and resource mobilization skills will be considered
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution will be an added advantage Minimum
Ten (10) years relevant experience
Undertake research to meet the needs of the County so that employees are able to undertake their duties efficiently and effectively.
Assist with policy work as part of the Units submissions to the relevant County forums and work on initiatives with County Assembly,
Write briefs on a wide range of contacts in County government, political parties and special interest groups (including the media) on specific policy issues.
Liaise with Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) in order to identify and research issues that will help gather support
Develop and maintain close and effective relationships with a network of Members of County Assembly, key external contacts staff.
Represent the Unit at internal and external meetings; provide support for members by producing agendas and papers for meetings and undertaking any necessary follow-up.
