Responsibilities

Ensuring that the facilities are operating smoothly by monitoring and reporting on equipment performance, maintenance needs, and employee performance
Providing technical advice and guidance to employees whose work is related to a specific technical field such as construction or engineering
Coordinating with other supervisors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget constraints
Reviewing work orders, checklists, and other documentation to ensure that the work was performed correctly
Evaluating employee performance and conducting disciplinary actions when necessary
Assigning tasks to employees based on their skills and training, ensuring that they are working safely, and providing feedback to help them improve their performance
Overseeing the work of employees in order to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget constraints
Maintaining good relationships with clients by providing them with information about projects as they progress and answering any questions they may have
Communicating regularly with clients to ensure that they are happy with the work being performed
Provides work direction and participates in the construction, installation, operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and telecommunications equipment, scientific instrumentation, video surveillance systems, and other systems.
