Dealing with complicated "Bosses"
Some time ago, I got a new “boss”. He seemed not to like me because he was always negative. Using my reflex reaction, I continuously changed him by doing the following:
• I didn’t care about him.
• He used to tease me but, I would stay cool and smile.
• I never defended my self.
• I have always showed that I am not sad about situations.
Last week we had a meeting and he was addressing me with honor and respect. I did not know that my psychological tricks above could change him. They did!

  • Thanks for the comments and I also know that "only change"is permanent. He could negatively change any time!

  • Individuals are created differently. Take time to understand him. It might be his personality. Be sure you are not misinterpreting his behaviour and... reaction to you. Overall, I like your resilience. more

  • Excellent outcome. Congratulations.

  • One time is only a data point. Don't take being treated decently once as proof of real change. He could be faking you out.

  • Excellent. Good advice!! Thanks for sharing.
