ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The storekeeper is responsible for the maintenance of a department’s/organization’s storeroom, performing activities such as stocking of operational materials and supplies, inventory control and records, purchasing, and related duties as required.
Key responsibilities include:

Planning for procurement of inventory as per the Purchase Orders
Receiving the delivery of all incoming materials and reconciling with purchase orders
Tracking, documenting, and resolving any discrepancies on received orders
Ensuring accuracy of the facility’s inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns
Managing supplier relations and database as well as maintain high ethical relationships both internally and externally
Creating purchase orders and utilize purchasing card to perform low-value procurement activities
Ensuring vendors accounts reconciliation and payments proceeds
Managing and processing day to day schools catering information requests and feedback
Daily data entry of established catering documentation and records supporting the catering team with Key data entries
Implementation of Food safety  policy and procedures
Performing any other duties delegated the Catering Services Manager

ABOUT YOU

Diploma in Stores and Procurement Management/Catering and Hospitality Management or relevant qualification
Knowledge of storekeeping, general warehousing, and familiarity with issuing, stocking, ordering and receiving parts/supplies, and understanding of cycle counts on inventory. 
Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
Great written and verbal communication skills and can work effectively with others in a team setting.
Great customer service skills and able to interface with suppliers and customers by identifying customer needs and resolving customer issues.
