Key Responsibilities


Develop and implement a communications strategy aligned with organizational goals
Oversee and coordinate all communication leads across the consortium, ensuring alignment and consistency in messaging
Draft compelling content such as newsletters, partner updates, blogs, social media posts, success stories, and quarterly reports
Manage and maintain the organizations’ websites, digital platforms, and communication systems
Coordinate internal communications, including team updates, briefing documents, announcements, and presentation materials
Support event communications for Town Halls, webinars, partner workshops, and investor briefings
Oversee media relations and external communications, including the development of press kits and thought leadership articles
Liaise with implementing partners, donors, and stakeholders to collect success stories and impact narratives for dissemination


Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Multimedia Design, or a related field
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a communication role, preferably in the development, investment, or enterprise sector
Demonstrated leadership in developing and implementing organization-wide or multi-partner communication strategies
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills to craft compelling content for reports, social media, newsletters, blogs, and donor communications
Advanced graphic design and visual communication capabilities using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and PowerPoint to create engaging presentations, infographics, and branded materials.
Strong digital and social media acumen, including content planning, community engagement, and analytics across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, and email campaigns
