KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:


Perform Electrical/Mechanical maintenance on all plant equipment.
Maintenance, Fault finding & Repairs on PLC, Motors, Hoists, Conveyors (floor & overhead), DB’s, Lights, Fans, Spray systems, Lifters, rollers, ovens, hangers (carriers), pumps, paint systems, pneumatics, hydraulics & All Plant facility equipment
Servicing & Repairs of Paint equipment, Pneumatic Pumps & Motors,
Participation in machine & facility upgrade projects
Perform Legal Compliance Checks. Maintain quality standards & work in accordance with ISO standards.
TPM’s & RCM on all plant facility
Line Breakdowns
Production support
Implementation of Kaizens and Cost reductions
Standby responsibility, start up and switch off responsibility and Weekend duty
Quality problem investigation and countermeasure
MTTR and MTBF improvement
Quality circle’s participation
Squad Kaizens


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:


N3 + Trade tested, (MILLWRIGHT).
Minimum 2 - 4 years post apprenticeship experience in manufacturing environment (preferable).
Experience in pneumatics, electro-pneumatics & Hydraulics
PLC’s and Robotics experience would be a plus
Must be prepared to work day/night shifts on rotational basis, overtime and standby as and when required.
