Job Purpose    


Apply the fundamentals of the Integrated Asset Management System and to provide an Asset Management service incorporating best practices, processes, systems, techniques and transferring of knowledge and skills to all relevant branches.


Key Responsibility Areas    


Identification of work orders with the Enterprise Asset Management System (e.g. ellipse) where scoping is required.
Attend the weekly work planning and control meetings.
Utilising previous electrical reticulation experience to support project tasks as required.
Support the updating of Standards/ Codes of Practice.
Actively support and promote safety and accident prevention.
Responsible for the management of technical information.
Accept appointment in terms of the Occupational Health & Safety act (1993) and regulations, as required by the Head Electricity.
Undertake other related duties.

Essential Requirements    


Trade Tested Artisan (Electrician).
In possession of a NTC2 or NCV3 in Electrical Engineering from a Further Education and
Training College registered with the Department of Education.
Valid First Aid Certificate or be trained within 6 months from date of appointment.
Valid motor vehicle driving license
3 years relevant post apprenticeship experience in electricity distribution and transmission
industry.


Preferred Requirements    


4 years relevant post apprenticeship experience in electrical distribution and transmission supply.
