I am going to just put this out there, it is so hard on ones soul to start job searching after having your own business and wearing every hat for years.

    Yes been there and done that I was in business for 17 years after which returning to the work field .,,take your time to make the adjustment . One... thing I learn was to work for the company like it’s yours ..the pros are you will be an excellent employee ..cons is the company will benefit greatly but will not really compensate your true worth that of being both business minded and work ethic supreme. more

  • I can understand that based off that perspective of not able to do what you want. What if we flipped the switch. The mindset is practicing to take a... seat and learn new perspectives and service others with all the skills you’ve obtained thus far to grow a new set of skills to prepare you for when you get back out there to lead. Honestly if you’re juggling alot of hats, something is off hence the reason you’re back at working for someone. Life is for us to understand and get the fundamentals, one is you cant do Nothing alone. When you force it by ignoring the signs like feeling burnout, unable to rely on others, hesitating vulnerability. Life will happen to humble the Ego until you understand life wasnt design for you to carry everything on your shoulders, more

  • It is hard to have someone have the control of your career when you have been making all the decisions. Also it is hard to not be appreciated. Also... taking something you may feel like you are worth more than they are paying. All I can say is good! more

  • It takes time when you bossed up for so long but to stay in the employee world take it one day at a time and try to reframe your mind from employer to... employee…focus on the benefits of not being responsible to steer the ship and go on the balcony and enjoy more

  • I’ve worked for myself for so long my husband says I am unemployable. On some level he is correct. When you have shouldered every decision for so... long it’s difficult to let someone else call the shots. I was briefly on a planning board where I wasn’t “the boss”. My takeaway , always respect the decision, even when I disagree.  more
