Division: Fixed Broadband

Mission:


Oversee the development and management of MTNN Broadband strategy to ensure strategic/marketing decision-making, supported by an accurate, efficient and effective market positioning system while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures that monitor and support the broadband business performance management.
Develop strategy for data extraction, interpretation and governance.
To distill and provide deep understanding of customer needs and aspirations to enable MTN Nigeria engage more closely with its customers with relevant value propositions.


Description:


Provide direction on broadband business planning, business performance monitoring and propositions analysis 
Ensure relevant business rules are applied in the budget process and forecasting scenarios for broadband business performance 
Manage the performance measurement and monitoring of broadband propositions / promotion / activity to ensure that it adheres to business plan and provide feedback to senior management as requested. 
Develop competitive broadband strategies for MTN Broadband product plans, solutions and value propositions 
Provide strategic direction and oversight on business performance reporting metrics (subscriber, revenue, margins, churn) of all solutions and services across all key segments 
Define and manage Broadband Segment customer lifecycle management (CLM) framework in conjunction with the business Segment Managers 
Ensure integrity of broadband financial modeling projects. 
Ensure quality assurance for all business plans, product analysis and data generated for reporting 
Review and assess competitive price reactions scenarios 
Execute strategies for effective market penetration based on existing channels 
Oversee the initiation and management of sales activation at identified key retail points 30. New business opportunities from products launched, sector/market growth, product/process innovation, process reviews/audit implementation etc., across the company.
Provide strategic direction on the optimal pricing strategy and models for Broadband propositions and solutions
Ensure full integration of quality management processes within the Business Performance Management team and activities to ensure alignment with their effective deployment on a day-to-day basis.
Coach and train direct reports to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the department, awareness of set targets/requirements and regularly review their training needs.
Review the performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.


Education:


A first degree in Economics, Business Administration, Commerce or any Social Science degree
A Masters degree, preferably an MBA will be an advantage
Fluent in English and language of country preferable


Experience:

9 - 17 years’ experience which includes:


Manager track record of 5 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/ industry 
3 years’ experience in business performance reporting, financial analysis and business development
Worked across diverse cultures and geographies advantageous
