Hey guys. I once apllied for an internship in a certain Industry which after, I was asked to report officially on a certain date since everything was okay. Unfortunately when I reported the very day I was told, The General Manager who approved my application en told me to come denied me and claimed there's no position for it at all. What could be the reason for this please.

    I’m sorry that this happened to you. I would be horrified and embarrassed. The GM does not seem to have the skills to even be a manager. This is a top... reason why employees leave, it’s because of how they treat their employees. I would personally write an email to the HR team and express this humiliation. This should not go unnoticed because this mamanger is probably ruining the organization and it’s not being spoken about.  more

    Could have been that you were duped. There are a lot of scam recruiters out there currently that claim to be representing legitimate companies and... they collect all your information, tell you your start date, and then ghost you. Be vigilant. Its easier now more than ever to use AI to set up an authentic website and automated emails and profiles. Be vigilant and always verify on company sites that a job posting is real.     I'm sorry to hear that. That's not professional behaviour. I agree with the person suggesting getting a paper trail of that and taking it to the HR.

    there should be a paper trail for your offer of internship with the company, i would get that and bring it to HR
