JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for leading business growth, client retention, and strategic relationship management efforts by onboarding insurance and corporate clients, supporting credit control, and expanding access to Beacon of Hope Hospital’s services. The Officer will spearhead marketing initiatives, oversee insurance partnerships, and collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery and revenue optimization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

R1. Business Development & Marketing


Identify and engage new corporate, institutional, and insurance clients (e.g. schools, NGOs, companies).
Represent the hospital in exhibitions, wellness days, stakeholder forums, and strategic networking events.
Promote hospital services to both insured and self-pay clients through outreach activities and direct engagement.
Develop and implement campaigns aligned with hospital strategic goals.
Produce tailored marketing materials (brochures, presentations, digital content).


R2. Insurance & Corporate Onboarding


Initiate onboarding of insurance companies and corporate clients, ensuring documentation and contracts are executed.
Coordinate with billing and clinical teams for smooth service provision and client setup.
Manage communication and compliance with partner organizations.


R3. Client Relationship Management


Act as the primary contact for insurance and corporate clients.
Resolve complaints, collect feedback, and ensure positive service experiences.
Schedule client reviews and maintain strong rapport with stakeholders (HR teams, wellness units, etc.).


R4. Credit Control Support


Liaise with the Accounts Office to follow up on payments, claims, and rejections.
Maintain records of corporate credit utilization and expected reimbursements.
Monitor insurance account performance and flag financial risk areas.


R5. Reporting & Strategy


Prepare monthly reports on acquisitions, revenue performance, feedback, and market trends.
Review competitor service packages and suggest ways to improve the hospital’s market positioning.
Support pricing, packaging, and promotional adjustments based on market insights.


R6. Other Duties and Responsibilities


Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Level of Education


Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.


Specialized Training/Professional Qualifications


Additional marketing certification(s) from a reputable institution is an added advantage.
