General Responsibility
• Relationship Building and Management: Establishing, maintaining and strengthening relationships with key contacts in both existing and new businesses to foster collaboration and increase funding • Business Development and Revenue Growth: identifying opportunities to sell new products to Association members, while creating and executing proposals, tenders and strategic initiative to support business expansion and revenue growth • Strategic Planning and Branding: Developing and implementing innovative business development initiatives, while leveraging the organization's branding and professional profile to explore emerging trends and opportunities for growth • Project Management and Pipeline Maintenance: Maintaining an accurate and ongoing projects pipeline to track progress and ensure efficient execution of business strategies and deliverables • Capacity Building and Resource Mobilisation: Sourcing funds and creating initiatives to enhance the capacity of member companies, enabling them to scale operations and improve their competitiveness • Event organization and Networking: Planning and hosting events that bring member companies together, fostering collaboration, sharing of ideas and strengthening, industry networks • Team building and sustainable growth: Building and nurturing cross-functional teams to guide the organization toward sustainable, long-term growth, while ensuring alignment with strategic goals and industry trends • A proven ability to plan, develop and execute business development operations focused on revenue growth • Demonstrated ability to work within a multi disciplinary team • Proven ability to develop nd implement B2B sales strategies • Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills • Strong background in negotiation and writing business proposals/plans • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs • Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients
Qualification Required & Experience
• BSc/BA/MA in Business Administration, Marketing and Sales, Economics, Finance, Engineering or any other relevant field • Minimum of 5 years experience in a BDS or project management role
