We are seeking a passionate and motivated Mechanic Intern to join our transport & fleet management team. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in assisting in the maintenance and repairing of commercial trucks while working alongside experienced professionals.

Key Skills & Qualifications:


Education: Diploma/Certificate in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field (awaiting graduation or recently completed).
Basic knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, and workshop tools.
Willingness to learn electrical diagnostics (12V/24V systems).
Good communication skills, discipline, and teamwork ability.
High integrity, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Knowledge: Vehicle systems, preventive maintenance basics, workshop safety.
Technical Skills: Basic mechanical repair, familiar with diagnostic tools.
Soft Skills: Problem-solving, eagerness to learn, time management, and collaboration.


Key Competencies


Assist in routine servicing of company trucks (oil changes, brake adjustments, tyre checks, etc.).
Support senior mechanics in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
Participate in preventive maintenance schedules and daily vehicle inspections.
Help in preparing service/job cards and maintaining accurate workshop records.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to HSE standards. • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
