RESPONSIBILITIES


Operate and monitor batching plant equipment to produce concrete according to specified mix designs.
Ensure proper calibration of scales and batching systems.
Coordinate with supervisors and truck drivers for timely dispatch of ready-mix concrete.
Maintain and manage raw material inventory (cement, sand, aggregates, admixtures, etc.).
Conduct routine inspections and can minor maintenance of the batching plant and related equipment.
Record daily production data and prepare batch reports.
Troubleshoot equipment fault sand communicate major issues to maintenance teams.
Ensure all operations comply with environmental and safety regulations.
Keep the batching area clean and organized.
Assist in quality control procedures, including slump testing and temperature checks.
Reporting unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
Reporting HSE hazards and incidents
Removing yourself from unsafe conditions
Compliance with all TSL HSE Policies and procedures


Requirements:


Minimum 3 years of experience in operating a concrete batching plant.
Strong understanding of concrete mix designs and production processes.
Familiarity with computerized batching systems with the ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform minor repairs.


Qualifications and Educational Requirements


HND or equivalent, technical training in concrete or plant operations will be an advantage
