The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be responsible for developing and executing the bank’s overall marketing and brand strategy to drive business growth, customer acquisition, and market share. This executive role will oversee all marketing functions, including brand management, digital marketing, product promotion, customer insights, and public relations. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a strong background in financial services marketing and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:


Marketing Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the bank’s objectives for revenue growth and customer expansion.
Brand Management: Strengthen the bank’s brand identity and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
Digital Marketing Leadership: Drive digital transformation through effective use of digital platforms, SEO, social media, email marketing, and data analytics.
Product Promotion: Lead marketing campaigns for banking products and services, ensuring alignment with sales goals and customer needs.
Customer Insights: Conduct market research and customer analysis to identify trends, needs, and opportunities that inform product and marketing strategies.
Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering creativity and accountability.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, sales, and customer service teams to ensure integrated marketing efforts and customer experience.
Marketing Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Public Relations & Corporate Communications: Oversee public relations initiatives and corporate communications to enhance the bank’s public image and stakeholder engagement.
Performance Monitoring: Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using KPIs to optimize results.


Qualifications & Requirements:


BSc/HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or any related field (MBA or professional certification is an added advantage).
Minimum of 5–10 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (preferably in the financial sector).
Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and team management skills.
Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and brand management.
High proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Results-driven mindset with a keen understanding of market dynamics.
