To provide leadership for building, growing and maintaining a high-quality portfolio of SME loans in line with Platinum Credit Uganda Ltd strategy and objectives.

Develop a marketing and distribution strategy for the attainment of the agreed individual, team and product disbursement targets to expand the SME client base within the Region.
To lead and implement the agreed strategies/ activities to achieve the set portfolio quality targets.
Ensure the recruitment, onboarding, retention, training and coaching of SME staff on all processes to grow and maintain a good quality portfolio.
To provide operational leadership to the SME team to ensure that processes (loan origination, appraisal, approval and monitoring – Delinquency Escalation Process) are adhered to; design and entrench processes where they are missing.
Research and study the current and future SME market trends including competitor analysis to inform the strategies to meet SME client needs and product development.
Conduct regular regional visits to keep updated with the branch teams to identify and address any challenges in a timely manner.
On a monthly basis, submit to Management, your proposed improvements to the current lending policies/controls to improve the quality of the SME portfolio.
Create an enabling relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure they understand our processes to achieve customer satisfaction.
Performance management; inform/engage, remediation plan and action, documentation and staff appraisal to ensure continuous performance improvement for all SME staff in accordance with the Branch Operations guidelines.
Implement and practice the principles of Quality Management System in the daily job activities to ensure excellent and quality service delivery by staff members.
