We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician to support our maintenance and production teams by ensuring the efficient operation of mechanical systems and machinery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:


Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems, machines, and equipment.
Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery in production areas.
Diagnose mechanical faults and breakdowns, ensuring timely corrective actions.
Conduct preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and avoid unexpected failures.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures.
Work closely with engineers and production teams to optimize machine performance.
Keep detailed maintenance logs and records of performed repairs and inspections.
Operate hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical instruments as needed.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
Stay updated with emerging mechanical technologies and maintenance best practices.


Requirements:


National Diploma (ND), Technical Certification, or Trade Test in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, machine operation, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication.
Hands-on experience with welding, machining, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
Strong understanding of safety procedures, maintenance best practices, and equipment handling.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
