Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with vendors or other third-party service providers. This might include negotiating contracts, reviewing invoices, and ensuring that all parties involved are satisfied with the services being provided.
Functions and Responsibilities:

Monitor the quality of work performed by external vendors to ensure that it meets company standards
Review bids from vendors for new projects or contracts and recommending which bids should be accepted based on price, qualifications of the vendor, and other factors
Communicate with clients to help them understand project details and progress, and answering any questions they may have
Manage a team of employees who work with vendors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget requirements
Negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure fair payment terms and conditions
Manage the recruitment and training of new vendors as needed
Provide information about new technologies and industry trends to help improve efficiency and productivity
Coordinate with human resources departments to hire new staff members or terminate existing employees as needed
Conduct performance evaluations of external vendors to ensure they are meeting company standards
