Purpose of the Job
The main purpose of the job is to develop niche business and financing products including credit and credit guarantees, financial / capital investments including bonds to drive sustainable financing to the WaterFund; to develop funding concepts and leveraging private finance. The job holder is responsible for providing technical expertise for development of business models geared towards revenue generation for the WaterFund.
Qualifications
The holder of this position should meet the following qualifications:

A minimum period of eight (8) years in relevant work experience and at least three (3) years in supervisory role in a position in the Public Service or Private Sector;
Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Development Studies, International Relations, Economics, Commerce, or any other relevant qualifications;
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Development Studies, Economics, Commerce, or any other Equivalent qualifications;
Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognised institution;
Professional qualification and membership where applicable;
Good Communication skills
Proficiency in Computer Applications

Duration of the assignment
This is a temporary position for a period of one (1) year, renewable subject to demonstratable performance.
