Job Purpose


The job holder will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of an organization-wide ICT service management to ensure availability of efficient ICT systems in compliance with applicable policies, standards and best practices.


Key Duties and Responsibilities


Managing the performance of the ICT Service, ensuring that all user systems are available and data integrity is maintained at all times;
Developing ICT services management policies, procedures and standards and ensuring that they are fully implemented;
Ensuring that systems are comprehensively supported as per service level agreements with users;
Ensuring provision of timely and accessible responsive service desk that supports the ICT users;
Maintaining an up-to-date inventory for the entire Authority’s ICT asset portfolio for effective planning;
Reviewing and recommending on infrastructure and systems upgrades in line with changing business and technology needs; and
Undertaking research in conjunction with other ICT and business functions to evaluate new products to ensure the Authority continues to take leverage of technology developments in the Industry.


Key Qualifications and Experience


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and Technology, Software Engineering, Information Security, Business Administration (IT option) from a recognized institution of higher learning
Master’s degree is desirable
A minimum period of eight (8) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which must be in a supervisory position
IT Management Certification (ITIL, ITSM etc.) from a recognized body
ICT Professional qualification e.g. CISCO, SAP, ORACLE, HP, IBM, Checkpoint Security, ITIL, SSQL or MSCE
Membership to a related professional body and in good standing
Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks
Proficiency in Computer application
