DUTIES:

The facilities coordinator is responsible to Master for safe and efficient operation of the catering department.
Overall management of the vessel's catering department
Ensuring that personnel, food preparation and storage m eet hygien requirments.
Co-ordinating of training for catering personnel with respect to food handling, hygiene and EHS matters.
Maintaining and ordering of adequate provision stocks and co-ordination of storage of food, cleaning materials.
Any other duties as required by the Master.

QUALIFICATIIONS: Personnel must be qualified in accordance with WOUS requirements for the catering Manager.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a facilites coordinator onboard a vessel with large crew compliment passengers.
SKILLS: Able to speak and understand English fluently.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: personnel has the authority to stop any activity on the grounds of immediate saety, health and environmental harzards.
DECISION MAKING: The facilities coordinator co-ordinates with any persons necessary for safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
