The Consultant, Program Officer, Complementary Pathways will support the following functions:


Coordinate planning with project stakeholders in various locations including Nairobi, Kakuma and Dadaab refugee camps and any other target locations.
Support in students and stakeholder engagements.
Support with logistics for various project activities including convening project beneficiaries for group and individual activities.
Organize travel logistics for WUSC Kenya and WUSC Ottawa staff members.
Travel to Kakuma and/or Dadaab refugee camp and any other target locations during the SRP selection process and to provide follow-up support to the selected cohort.
Maintain constant communication with the beneficiaries. 
Participate in regular meetings with WUSC Kenya and WUSC Ottawa team as and when needed.
All other related tasks, as required.  


Candidate Experience and Competencies


University degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, or a related field.
2–3 years’ experience in the NGO, humanitarian, or refugee sectors.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Fluent in English; French is an added advantage.
Strong cultural sensitivity and understanding of crisis contexts.
Committed to gender equality.
Highly organized, goal-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.
Proficient in IT tools, especially spreadsheets and PDF programs.
Flexible and creative, with willingness to travel to locations such as Kakuma and Dadaab for two weeks at a time each quarter or as needed
