The duties and Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:


A recognized teaching qualification with a specialisation in Primary Education and/or Mathematics;
Proven experience in teaching primary school mathematics with a track record of Grade 7 Mathematics teaching;
A passion for mathematics and the ability to inspire and engage young learners;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a personality suited to a community-focused environment;
Leadership abilities and experience in mentoring or leading a team of educators would be advantageous;
Current and Valid Registration with SACE;
Computer literacy and ability to integrate IT suitably in teaching and learning;
Current teaching experience in an ISASA school;
Must have the ability to identify with the values and ethos of SAHETI School.


Duties and Responsibilities


Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to primary school students;
Develop innovative lesson plans that build confidence and excitement for mathematics;
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity;
Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow educators, sharing best practices and fostering a collaborative teaching environment.
Engage with parents and the community to support student learning and development;
Participate actively in all school activities and contribute to the community spirit;
Monitor and support pastoral care of pupils;
Engage and participate in the reflection and staff development process of the School.
