Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:


Interprets and coordinates pre-work with regards to repairs, planned and predictive maintenance;
Execute all maintenance work in a safe manner;
Perform lockouts and make the work area safe;
Test and commission equipment prior to handover;
Identify and record all subsequent work found during the inspection activities;
Reporting of events and non-conformances;
Ensure optimal asset life through application of good maintenance practices.


ABOUT YOU:


You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Millwright;
In depth mechanical and electrical knowledge of Winders, shafts, compressors, conveyors, screens, crushers, hydraulic systems and pumps is essential;
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings is essential;
Knowledge of Soft starters, Control and Instrumentation and SAP is advantageous.


Qualifications for this role are:


Serious contenders will have a N2 Technical Certificate (Internal Candidates) and N3 Technical Certificate (External Candidates) with a recognized Millwright trade test.
Valid Code B (08) Driver’s license is essential.
