Job Purpose: The Assistant Human Resources Officer will support day-to-day HR operations, help ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and contribute to maintaining a positive and efficient workplace environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:


Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs across the organization
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation
Organize and manage physical and digital filing systems for HR documents
Support recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new employees
Help manage leave records, attendance tracking, and employee benefits administration
Take minutes during HR meetings and ensure timely distribution and filing
Assist in drafting employment contracts, letters, and other HR related documents
Prepare and manage HR correspondence such as memos, notices, and official communications


Key Qualifications / Skills / Competencies / Experience Required


Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of One Year (1) experience in an HR support role or similar capacity
Strong written communication skills for drafting documents, minutes, and correspondence
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail and the ability to manage filing systems efficiently
