The answer is plain and simple, start looking. That promotion without a bump in salary is just another way of keeping the donkey breaking their back.

Clearly, your being watched to get you to work harder. Then if your not able to excite yourself, then they'll replace you with another one who's... voting to get out. Your companies not allowed to just cut you out, but build a profile, then accommodate you to see if your able to operate successfully.
