GENERAL DESCRIPTION    
The Procurement Specialist is to lead strategic supplier management, negotiate contracts, and drive cost-effective procurement. The role is pivotal in ensuring seamless logistics operations, collaborating with stakeholders, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize our supply chain.   
DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION    

Establish supplier list and common material/service list
Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.  
Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.  
Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.  
Purchasing the products and services on time for the requesting departments.  
Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.  
Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.

 REQUIREMENTS 

Minimum of 3 years experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar position, Experience in the Logistics field is an added advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business management or a similar field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Software Purchase.                                
Supervisory and management experience.
Attention to detail.
Strong communication and negotiation skills. 
Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
