Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic objectives for the Corporate Banking division, working closely with all other Bank divisions and subsidiaries. 
Lead the financial and business planning process, providing analysis to support decision-making and drive staff productivity. 
Collaborate with Strategy and Finance teams to develop KCB's Group strategy in alignment with the strategic direction.
Oversee the financial reporting and analysis functions of Corporate Banking, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Review business performance against budgets and develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts. 
Ensure revenue opportunities are properly maintained and tracked for closure against agreed budgets and targets. 
Enhance budgetary controls and monitor expenditure for Corporate Banking.
Ensure the development of revenue assurance checks and review their effectiveness to prevent revenue leakages. 
Review corporate business processes, conduct business re-engineering, and establish an end-to-end risk management framework for Corporate Banking. 
Lead a team of Business Enablement Managers to make informed decisions based on market data and benchmark information.

Skills, Competencies and Experience

University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking or its equivalent from a recognized institution. 
Master’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
8 - 10 years’ relevant experience (in well-established organizations) in corporate banking, banking operations, customer service, with at least 5 years in senior management position in Strategy formulation and implementation.
Capability of interpreting date trends and provide insights. 
Track record of attaining targets of business growth and profitability in the financial services and banking sector. 
Have appreciation and operating knowledge of the banking industry, market, trends as well as challenges. 
Demonstrable cross-cultural, people and relationship management skills, networking and negotiation skills, team motivation and leadership competence. 
Sound understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements of corporate governance, business, and banking operations. 
Effective communication 
Knowledge of the Bank’s lending principles, policies and procedures
