Key Responsibility Areas


Undertakes the work study interventions of a basic nature for the effective and efficient use of machinery, manpower and materials in order to improve productivity throughout the Municipality.
Apply techniques designed to establish the time for a qualified worker to carry out a specified job at defined level of performance of a basic. 
Eliminate the unnecessary operations by systematically recording and critically examining the ways of doing work of a basic work study nature by identifying easier and effective methods and reducing cost.
Determine the amount of time required by a worker to complete a unit of work of a basic work study nature using the specified method at a standard pace.
Undertake business process management of a basic work study nature for the Municipality.
Investigate and report work of a basic work study nature on the utilization of resources resulting in wastage and inefficiency to ensure the elimination of fruitless expenditure.
Implement a cost containment system of a basic work study nature within the Municipality. 


Essential Requirements


Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Operations Management or Production Management or Industrial Engineering or Management Services or any other related and equivalent qualification.
Valid motor vehicle driving license.
6 Months relevant experience.
Computer Literacy.
