I read an article online sometime back that humbled me.
It said that;
- About 80% of jobs that are advertised are already filled. They’re advertised... by companies as part of a legal obligation by the government, so literally for formality and audit purposes.
- The remaining 20% of the jobs is want every other person without connections is left to struggle for.
- About 75-80% of jobs are filled through networking.
- Finally, the success rate of one getting a job by transparently applying for a job, getting and excelling in interviews and getting the job is about 2%.
The bottom line is most jobs today are secured through networking.
That’s just it, you can have a killer CV, get interviews but it’s still not guaranteed that you’ll get the job.
Not to demoralize you but working with such facts in mind helps with perspective and perseverance while job searching.

First things First make sure your application is ATS compliant. If it isn't then your application maybe dead on arrival. Next I believe that good... things comes to those who believe and trust that you will be preferred.
