Description:
An operations manager is a key leadership role responsible for the efficient and effective management of all operational activities within an organization. The operations manager is responsible for ensuring that the company's operations run smoothly, meet targets and objectives, and are aligned with the overall business strategy. They play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, implementing operational policies and procedures, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the organization.
Develop and manage budgets, monitoring expenses and revenue to ensure financial targets are achieved.
Coordinate and manage all activities related to production, sales, and distribution to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers to ensure a seamless supply chain.
Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to minimize business risks.
Effectively communicate with all stakeholders including staff, customers, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure business continuity in the event of an unexpected disruption.
Oversee the daily operations, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Allocate and manage resources effectively to achieve operational goals while maximizing productivity and minimizing costs.
Develop and implement systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Monitor and report on operational expenses, and budget variances, and perform financial analysis related to operations.

Daily, and weekly auditing of operational processes and expenses to ensure compliance and ensure that all operational expenses tally with the accounting department.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or relevant field.
Proven experience as an operational manager or similar role.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Minimum of Five (years) experience
Knowledge of business software such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
Ability to motivate and manage staff effectively.
Strong customer service skills.
