I discovered my replacement was hired before I was even told I was being let go. Would you confront the company or just move on?

  • Having all the information is better when trying to give advice. Since there is not much to go on I'll make the assumption you didn't cross train the... induvial, you were not on a performance plan, you and only you were affected, you didn't give into your bosses wishes. Get my point? Until I have more information, I can't tell you what might be best to do. Good luck! Only peruse action if you feel you were wrongly released.  more

  • Move on and a much better door will open up for you.

  • Confront and move on, it helps others also know how the company is screwed and others also probably being in the pipeline.

  • I'm interested to

  • Move on. Do not confront. Use an exit interview
To get feedback. Do an honest assessment of your work performance and coworker interactions. Use... what you learn from both to do better with your next employer.  more

  • I’m kinda in that boat now. It’s very difficult, but the best course of action is to not take it personally

  • You may request for an exit interview. You may pick important pointers for yourself

  • Resign before they can let you go and request a letter of recommendation from them while maintaining a good relationship.

  • Just move on. Your employer is not your friend. It's business, no hard feelings. Actually, letting you go may be a blessing in disguise, so soldier... on. All the best! more
