What you will be doing:


Manage the full accounting function up to Trial Balance, including bookkeeping for associated entities, trusts, and inter-entity loans and payments.
Oversee satellite office finances, integrating them into group reporting and preparing VAT reports for external accountants.
Assist with tax-related tasks, including Provisional Tax, Income Tax, and Personal Income Tax submissions, as well as filing CIPC Annual Returns.
Process and monitor invoices, payments, accounts receivable, and payables, with bi-weekly reporting, while reconciling local and foreign currency bank accounts and credit cards.
Maintain the company's Fixed Asset Register and financial filing systems (digital and physical).
Facilitate imports and exports with shipping documentation, liaise with logistics companies, and advise clients on VAT and potential duties (SAD 500, HS codes, etc.).
Provide administrative support, assist with ad-hoc duties, and contribute to improving financial processes.


What is needed:


Accounting related tertiary education.
2 - 4 years in a similar role, ideally within an SME environment.
Skilled in accounting software (preferably QuickBooks Online) and MS Excel.
Experience in the import/export sector is advantageous.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
