Applicant must be in possession of a qualification endorsed by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and concede to enroll for SAICA Articles.


Job Purpose


To enable the incumbents of the post of graduate accountant to undergo a 3 year in-house training programme which provides candidates with comprehensive training in accounting and finance within the treasury departments.


Key Responsibility Areas


Preparation of the draft estimate report.
Assist with the preparation of the annual report and annual financial statements.
Preparation of the annual and multi-year operating and capital budgets for the assigned output Units.
Compensation for occupational injuries and diseases costs.
Undertake various reconciliations for the preparation of the AFS.
Provide adequately for all bad and doubtful debts.

Essential Requirements


BCom Degree (NQF Level 7) or equivalent with Accounting as a major.
