I found out my friend at work earns much more than me, even though we have almost identical jobs. I'm genuinely happy for them, but I also feel betrayed because they knew how much I was earning. Should I say something?

    I guess you didn't find out directly from your friend and that's why you feel betrayed. It's normal, you can address it with your friend and choose to... forgive, also you can re negotiate with your company based on your performance too more

    Not your friend but your company betrayal! Your friend has nothing to do with that as they negotiate earlier maybe higher than you did! Since it's... ALMOST and not same work, maybe they were hired on bigger terms though your works coincide a bit! Keep doing good! more
